Ross Fisher joined Constantine Cannon in October 2007. He concentrates his practice in the fields of antitrust, white collar litigation, and commercial litigation. In his practice, he has:
  • Represented Discover in its ongoing antitrust damages suit against Visa and MasterCard.
  • Defended large corporations in complex, multi-state antitrust litigation involving Sherman Act Section 1 and state law product pricing allegations.
  • Defended a corporate official in major white collar securities litigation.
  • Defended corporation in an industry-wide joint investigation by SEC, IRS, and Department of Justice.
  • Drafted sentencing memoranda for white collar defendants in criminal cases.
  • Counseled clients on statute of limitations, privilege, and waiver issues related to ongoing government investigations.
  • Counseled corporation on Exon-Florio regulations for national security-related acquisitions.
  • Counseled companies on consumer protection and predatory pricing issues under state and federal law in multiple jurisdictions.
Mr. Fisher graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2004, where he received a J.D. and an M.A. in legal history, and received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University in 1999, summa cum laude. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as a corporate and securities law paralegal in the Paris branch of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. He also has interned in the U.S. House of Representatives and for the Congressional Economic Leadership Institute. He speaks French and Spanish.

Mr. Fisher is a member of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia, and before the Eastern District of Virginia and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
