Sam Rikkers joined the Firm in September 2007 as an Associate in the New York office. He works in the Firm's antitrust and commercial litigation practices.

Mr. Rikkers received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in May 2007. As a law student, Mr. Rikkers worked for New York Attorney General Elliot Spitzer in the Antitrust Bureau, and at the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. He served as an intern to Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson, and to Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle's Legal Counsel. Mr. Rikkers was Note and Comment Editor for the Wisconsin International Law Journal and, as a member of the University of Wisconsin Law School's International Arbitration Team, was a semi-finalist at the Willem C. Vis International Moot Competition in Hong Kong.

In 2004, Mr. Rikkers received a Master's of International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and graduated cum laude from Macalester College with a Bachelor's Degree in philosophy and political science in 1998. He also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia from 2000 to 2002.

Mr. Rikkers is admitted to practice in New York, Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
