Ankur Kapoor specializes in antitrust litigation and counseling. Mr. Kapoor is experienced in various areas of antitrust law, including price fixing, tying and exclusive dealing, bundled rebates, monopolization, patent-antitrust (including fraud on the Patent Office, patent enforcement and licensing, and settlement of Hatch-Waxman patent litigation), merger analysis, and joint ventures. His practice has encompassed antitrust litigation and counseling in private actions (including complex class actions) as well as federal and state antitrust agency proceedings. Mr. Kapoor has represented clients in the brand name pharmaceutical industry, the consumer products industry, the media/telecommunications industry, and the payments industry. Mr. Kapoor is an active member of the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law. He currently serves as a Vice Chair of the Unilateral Conduct Committee. Mr. Kapoor also served on the Editorial Board for the 2005 Annual Review of Antitrust Law Developments (5th ed. 2002), and from August 2003 through October 2005 was the Editor of the Antitrust Section's Unilateral Conduct Committee E-Bulletin, which provides a monthly update on developments in monopolization law and policy. Mr. Kapoor is a graduate of the New York University School of Law, where he was a member of the National Moot Court Competition Team. Mr. Kapoor did his undergraduate study at Columbia University, where he majored in Economics and minored in Computer Science. Mr. Kapoor is admitted to practice in New York State, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. |
