Sacha Boegem joined Constantine Cannon in September 2008. Mr. Boegem specializes in representing plaintiffs and defendants in antitrust and complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts throughout the country.
Prior to joining Constantine Cannon, Mr. Boegem was an associate in the Trial Practice department of Jones Day where his litigation and arbitration experience involved representations relating to a wide range of fields, including commercial contracts and torts, antitrust, credit reporting practices under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, intellectual property agreements and trade secret protection. Mr. Boegem's government experience includes a White House internship in the Office of Political Affairs and Office of the Vice President & Domestic Policy Council from 1995-1996, and a Congressional internship with United States Senator Christopher J. Dodd of Connecticut in 1997. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Boegem also worked as an editor and writer for The Hotline, a prestigious daily news source coveted by political insiders, and for numerous political campaigns around the country. Mr. Boegem graduated cum laude in 2005 with a J.D. from Tulane Law School where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor on the Tulane Law Review, and as President of his law school class. His Case Note, Briggs v. Mississippi: The Fifth Circuit Adopts an Expansive View of the Reasonable Observer's Knowledge in Establishment Clause Inquiries, was published in the TULANE LAW REVIEW, Vol. 78, No. 6 (2004). Mr. Boegem also received Trial Advocacy Honors and a Certificate in European Legal Studies. Mr. Boegem graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. in Government in 1995. Mr. Boegem is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, Florida and the District of Columbia. He is also a member of the Bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of New York. Mr. Boegem is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. |
