Recent Additions: Constantine | Cannon is proud to announce the recent additions of four experienced attorneys to the firm:
Stanley N. Alpert is Of Counsel in the New York office. Mr. Alpert was previously the Chief of Environmental Litigation for the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York, in addition to his years of experience in private practice.
Joseph Gibson is Of Counsel in the Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Gibson was previously Chief Minority Counsel to the Judiciary Committee of the United States House of Representatives and a senior official at the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice.
Taline Sahakian joins the New York office as an associate. Ms. Sahakian was previously an antitrust and litigation associate at a prominent Canadian law firm.
Evan P. Schultz joins the Washington, D.C. office as an associate. Mr. Schultz has previously been legal counsel to U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein and a litigator in private practice.

May 15, 2008. May 9, 2008. BNA Antitrust Trade Regulation Reporter publishes article on Constantine Cannon LLP discovery victory in Park West, PC et al v. CareCore National LLC et al. The article details how Constantine Cannon LLP, through motion practices, was able to limit defendants' "fishing expedition" into non-parties entities in which the owners of the plaintiffs had an interest. (Antitrust Trade Regulation Vol 94. No. 2351 p. 464)

May 7, 2008. September 7, 2007 Douglas Rosenthal, partner at Constantine Cannon, has been selected for the 25th anniversary edition of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in Antitrust Law and International Trade and Finance Law.

June 15, 2007 Reiko Cyr of Constantine Cannon was appointed Vice-Chair of the Communications Industry Committee of the American Bar Association Antitrust Section. Ms. Cyr has been an active member of the Committee for several years and will be the second Constantine Cannon attorney to join the ABA Antitrust Section leadership.

Gordon Schnell spoke at the 2007 Advanced EC Competition Law Conference in London. The two-day conference focused on major developments in the field of EC competition law and policy. Mr. Schnell participated on a panel of U.S. and European antitrust practitioners on the subject of the pros and cons of permitting antitrust class actions.

Constantine Cannon announces that partner Seth Greenstein and associate Mitch Stoltz won a summary judgment for Static Control Components, against claims of copyright infringement filed by Lexmark International.

March 27, 2007 Constantine Cannon LLP announces that, in a pro bono representation that concerned unpaid wages claims that was led by Constantine Cannon attorney, Reiko Cyr and attorneys from the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF), full judgment for the plaintiff client was awarded by the Court. That client, Mrs. Sun Ja Yi, 65, worked 60 hours a week as a chef for a popular dance club without receiving overtime or spread of hours pay. Constantine Cannon and AALDEF sued on her behalf and succeeded in obtaining both payment for her unpaid wages as well as legal fees (which were provided in full to AALDEF) in the amount of $35,000.
