COMPLIANCE, MONITORING AND INVESTIGATIONS
Constantine Cannon conducts efficient and effective internal reviews and investigations for its clients. We provide critical value by establishing the independence of investigations, a key issue both in seeking reduced penalties in criminal actions and in minimizing civil litigation exposure. We also ensure the best practices in investigative and data collection procedures.
Compliance and Monitoring
The current regulatory environment is rapidly increasing the importance of internal compliance programs. We assist organizations of all sizes in developing programs that meet or exceed both external and internal compliance requirements, formalize ethical standards and promote best practices.
We are committed to designing programs that foster adherence to the highest ethical and legal standards while enhancing our clients' performance. We work closely with organization leaders, and where applicable, compliance committees of Boards of Directors, to create programs that are comprehensive and consistent with clients' needs. After we review the client's operations at all levels, we design a long-term methodology — which can be implemented either by Constantine Cannon or our client — to provide reliable metrics demonstrating the client's implementation of the relevant policies and procedures.
We designed a monitoring methodology for a Fortune 250 corporation to evaluate its compliance with the business reform requirements of a major regulatory settlement agreement and performed reviews to gauge effectiveness of compliance efforts.
We designed and implemented a compliance and reporting program under the multi-state disclosure and aggregate spend laws for a large generic pharmaceutical manufacturer.
We participated in the design and implementation of compliance programs for a major urban police force pursuant to a Federal Court Consent Decree.
